Lapidary is the art of cutting & polishing stone. People of all ages enjoy this exceptional museum dedicated to sharing with others the beauty of gemstones and providing an environment for all people to learn about rocks, minerals and lapidary art. Founded in 1962 the Lizzadro Museum attracts local and international visitors. The Museum is unique in the United States and houses a large collection of Chinese jade and other hard-stone carvings from around the world. Displays include animal dioramas, mineral specimens, gemstones and interactive geological exhibits.

The Museum Shop offers a variety of gem jewelry, rocks, minerals, fossils and educational items for sale. The Museum is available for evening rentals. Parking is free for buses and cars. The Museum is entirely on one level and ADA accessible.
Admission: $10.00 adults, $8.00 seniors (age 60 and over), $5.00 ages 7 to 12 yrs., teenagers and students with ID, under 6 yrs. free. Wednesday is free admission, sponsored by RBC Wealth Management.
