Carlos earned his degree in Electronic Engineering from DeVry University in 2008. After a successful decade in the engineering field, he transitioned into entrepreneurship, managing and operating a banquet hall business for two years before successfully selling it. In 2015, he joined The Drake Hotel in Oak Brook as part of the opening team. Over the years, he advanced through key leadership roles, including Banquet Manager, Director of Operations, and Assistant General Manager, eventually being promoted to General Manager. His achievements were recognized with awards such as Hotel of the Year for the management company and General Manager of the Year. Following his tenure as General Manager at The Drake Hotel, Carlos went on to open his own technology company, LUXAV, combining his engineering expertise with his passion for hospitality.
